The student visa allows full-time study at a CRICOS-registered institution. Work rights during studies are limited to 48 hours per fortnight, with full-time work permitted during semester/term breaks.
Must obtain a CoE from an eligible CRICOS-registered education institution before applying.
Must demonstrate genuine intent to study, including ties to home country, course relevance, and understanding of Australian student life.
Must prove sufficient funds covering living expenses, course fees, and travel. Minimum $29,710 living costs required.
Minimum functional English required. Exemptions available for some passport holders.
