The first instalment ($5,040) is paid at application lodgement; the second instalment ($43,600 per applicant) is due upon processing completion. An Assurance of Support bond ($10,000 for one parent; $14,000 for two) is held by the Commonwealth Bank for 10 years.
Must have at least one child settled as a permanent resident or Australian citizen.
At least half of your children or stepchildren must be settled permanent residents or Australian citizens.
Child sponsor must be a settled permanent resident or citizen and provide Assurance of Support and accommodation.
Standard requirements apply. Exceptions may still allow grant.
Any outstanding debts must be repaid or covered by a repayment agreement.
