The process involves four stages: Expression of Interest submission, nomination by an internationally recognised peer in the same sector (no pre-existing relationship required), government invitation, and visa application within 60 days.
Must demonstrate an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in an eligible sector.
Agri-food, critical technologies, education, financial services, health, infrastructure, renewables, resources, sport, the arts, and others.
Must be nominated by an internationally recognised talent in the same sector at the time of application.
Functional English language competency required.
Must hold a substantive visa or Bridging Visa A, B, or C.
Standard health and character requirements apply. Government debts must be repaid.
