The Subclass 101 grants permanent residency for eligible children applying from outside Australia.
Must usually be under 18 years old. Exceptions apply for those over 18 who are studying full-time or have a disability.
Must be outside Australia when applying.
Must be a biological child, adopted child, or stepchild of an eligible parent.
Must be dependent on the parent.
Applicants over 18 cannot be married or in de facto relationships.
Standard health and character requirements apply. Government debts must be repaid or subject to a repayment agreement.
