Permits a single child under 18 to enter and remain in Australia with a near relative when parental care is unavailable. An Assurance of Support bond of $5,000 is required for 2 years from arrival.
Must be under 18 years old.
Parents must be deceased or permanently unable to care for the child.
Must have near relatives living in Australia as permanent residents or citizens.
Must have consent to migrate.
Standard requirements apply. Exceptions may allow grant.
Any debts to the Australian government must be repaid or subject to a repayment agreement.
