The 300 visa allows you to enter Australia and marry your fiancé. Once married, you can lodge the Subclass 820 Partner visa and continue your pathway to permanent residency.
Both parties must be at least 18 years old.
The applicant and fiancé must not be closely related by blood or adoption.
Both parties must be legally free to marry under Australian law.
Both parties must genuinely intend to marry and live together as a married couple.
The applicant and fiancé must have physically met in person.
Standard health and character requirements apply. Any government debts must be repaid or subject to a repayment agreement.
